Why have counselling

At times in our lives, we find ourselves stuck. At these times, counselling provides a safe space for you to find yourself, to explore and discuss things that no longer work for you. Counselling can help us to look how past events keep us stuck in the present, and help us to see a way to go forward in our life.

I look at ways to reflect back to clients their strengths and qualities so as to raise their self-awareness, self-esteem, resilience and to empower them to make the changes that they want in their lives. The safe environment found within the relationship built with the therapist encourages clients to look at themselves and their situations in a realistic and complete way.
